Redskins dip into free agent market, sign DE Reyes

WASHINGTON (AP) The Washington Redskins have signed defensive end Kendall Reyes, their first free agent addition of the offseason.
Reyes, 26, hasn't missed a game over his four-year NFL career with the San Diego Chargers, who picked him in the second round of the 2012 draft. Reyes has 126 tackles, 13 1/2 sacks and an interception.
Last season the 6-foot-4, 300-pound UConn product had 32 tackles and two sacks.
Reyes is the Redskins' first new addition after they re-signed quarterback Colt McCoy, defensive lineman Kedric Golston, safety Duke Ihenacho and linebacker Mason Foster earlier in the week. Washington put the franchise tag on starting quarterback Kirk Cousins to retain him for 2016.
