Redskins CB Chris Culliver injures right knee in practice

Published Nov. 26, 2015 2:19 p.m. ET

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) Washington Redskins cornerback Chris Culliver has injured his right knee in practice and will undergo an MRI.

Culliver left the locker room on crutches and with a full brace on his right leg Thursday. Coach Jay Gruden says Culliver ''tweaked'' his knee after jumping for a ball and landing on it.

Culliver missed three games earlier this season after injuring his left knee in practice. He missed the entire 2013 season in San Francisco after tearing his left ACL in training camp.

Tackle Trent Williams (knee) was limited in practice after sitting out Wednesday. Gruden is ''optimistic'' that Williams will be available Sunday.
