Rams stick to blue and gold for new Los Angeles logo

Published Jan. 15, 2016 5:38 p.m. ET

News broke earlier this week that the Rams would be the NFL team relocating to the Los Angeles area for the 2016 season.

And according to their new logo, it appears the team is sticking with navy blue and gold for the team’s colors versus blue and yellow. The logo was revealed at a news conference in Inglewood, California, on Friday, per NFL.com.

With the Rams scheduled to play in Los Angeles for the 2016 season at their temporary home in the LA Coliseum, the organization is apparently is getting right down business by inking their new locale through some handy design work.

The new logo is bound to thrill California fans who had hoped the Rams would return to Los Angeles since the team’s departure in 1995. However, St. Louis fans who suddenly had their team ripped away surely aren’t sharing the same sentiment after such a quick turn of events.
