Rams rookie QB shaken up

Published Jan. 3, 2010 8:27 p.m. ET

St. Louis Rams quarterback Keith Null has been replaced in the third quarter against the San Francisco 49ers after being shaken up. The team said his return was questionable.

Null is 7 for 17 for 57 yards and has been sacked five times. He made his fourth straight start Sunday for the 1-14 Rams, but Kyle Boller entered midway through the quarter with St. Louis trailing 7-3.

It wasn't clear when Null was hurt.

Boller made his first appearance since Dec. 6, when he started in a loss at Chicago. He was sidelined the next two weeks due to a thigh injury and serious bout of flu.
