Rams offense a work in progress
It's no surprise the Rams offense would have some growing pains heading into 2015.
They changed quarterbacks in the offseason (Sam Bradford to Nick Foles), are introducing three new starters along the offensive line and do not yet have their first-round pick Todd Gurley at 100 percent.
Still, the Rams first unit on offense struggled mightily - likely more than expected - against the Titans.
Foles was just 3-of-7 for 18 yards and an interception the Titans turned into a touchdown. The run game was essentially non-existent with nine carries for 22 yards.
However, Foles remains optimistic about the group and sees the big picture moving forward.
“I think in the preseason you really just continue to grow together, working together, seeing different things, different looks,” Foles said, via the team website. “It’s one of those things where all of these are learning opportunities. You can’t take it too hard. You just have to learn from it and move on and get better.”
