Rams' Gurley to participate in training camp practices
Just last week, it was expected that St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley would begin training camp on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) List, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
That's not the case anymore.
The Rams confirmed Gurley passed his conditioning test on Tuesday and will be on the active roster for training camp practices. Gurley had been rehabbing from a torn ACL he suffered last November, but did do some light work with the training staff during OTAs.

At the time, head coach Jeff Fisher was impressed with Gurley's progress.
"Todd's doing a great job with his rehab," he said, per ESPN. "He's very anxious. He's probably a little frustrated, probably deep down inside not really happy right now, but he's anxious to get out there right now, so that's going well."
Skeptics had questioned the Rams' selection of Gurley at No. 10 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft, but it appears the Georgia standout is on track to compete for the starting running back position come fall.
