Pete Carroll enamored with Fred Jackson's skillset

Could head coach Pete Carroll already envision how Fred Jackson will be used if he signs with the Seahawks?
Perhaps.
When asked about Jackson's abilities, per ESPN, Carroll noted one thing in particular.
"He’s been a very good pass-catcher and [an] adept pass protector," Carroll said, via ESPN. "He’s always been a good runner. He’s got great feel and sense ... But he’s been a very adept pass receiver, and I think that’s something that maybe he could fit in if we got down that way with him."
Carroll is right that Jackson is a threat out of the backfield.
Over his eight-year career, Jackson has totaled 322 receptions, including a career high 66 in 2014. He's also had at least 30 receptions in seven of his eight seasons.
If the Seahawks are able to sign Jackson, their backfield - and offense - gets that much stronger.
