Patriots' chances of getting back Deflategate pick not looking good

Robert Kraft made his case Monday for getting back the first-round pick the Patriots lost in the Deflategate fallout. But it doesn't appear the New England owner will get his way.

NFL.com's Judy Battista doesn't forecast a positive outlook for Pats fans, according to a source.

The NFL took away the Patriots' 2016 first-round pick and 2017 fourth-round pick, along with a $1 million fine. The punishments stem from the Patriots allegedly deflating balls in the AFC Championship Game against the Colts. The Patriots' pick this year would be the 29th if the league decides to return it.
