Oliver Luck, 7 others join USA Football board of directors
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) USA Football added Oliver Luck and seven others to its 20-member board of directors Thursday.
Luck is the father of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and the NCAA's vice president for regulatory affairs.
Other newcomers include former New York Giants linebacker Bobby Abrams Jr., former Colorado quarterback Cody Hawkins and former Dartmouth defensive end Matthew Oh.
The national governing body also took some people with different football experiences.
Molly Goodwin and Elizabeth Okey both played previously on the U.S. women's national team, Brad Garrett is a former high school teacher and football coach who now serves as assistant executive director for the Oregon School Activities and Dr. Stanley Herring was the first chairman of USA Football's medical advisory committee.
USA Football is a leader in youth and high school coaching education.
