NFL Week 8: Staff picks and predictions
It’s Week 8 of the NFL season, and our FanSided staff is rolling out their picks. Mia Khalifa and Mike Dyce are leading the way to this point.
It’s the NFL, which means none of us really have a clue what is going on. However, everyone is above the .500 mark, which is more than we could say even a few weeks ago?
So why should you take heed in our picks? Because we are starting to roll. We’re like the 2015 Kansas City Chiefs, who started 1-5 only to come up like Secretariat down the stretch of the 1973 Belmont Stakes.
This week, there are 13 games to pick including the eyesore that is Thursday Night Football. That’s right, it’s Jaguars and Titans until you can’t handle it anymore, which is likely around the second quarter. A person can only take so many penalties and turnovers before they move on quietly and with great remorse in their heart.
So how do we see the games going? Here are the picks for Week 8 of the NFL campaign:
We all see Minnesota taking down the Bears on Monday night, while the Broncos earn a fairly surprising clean sweep against the Chargers. Only Patrick Schmidt believes the Colts will defend their turf against the Chiefs, while the Jaguars are being backed by Josh Hill, and only Josh Hill.
