Will NFL RedZone be free in Week 2 of the 2016 NFL Season?

One of the greatest things about football is watching NFL RedZone. It’s a great concept. RedZone is a channel that features just games in which a team is in the RedZone. When you’re done watching your team for the week or if your team is on a bye, it’s a great way to stay engaged with the rest of the league and have fun.

Last week, RedZone was free as a way to get people interested in buying it. This week, however, it will not be free. It costs $10 a month to get through Comcast, though the price might vary depending on who your cable provider is. RedZone is also a useful way to keep track of your fantasy team so you can know when your guy is about to score.

Verizon gives you free access to NFL Network, but you will have to buy RedZone through its app. You will need access to NFL Network in order to watch RedZone, on top of ordering RedZone of course.

RedZone can also be watched on your mobile device, making it an asset if you’re out on Sunday away from your television. It gives you the ability to watch every touchdown as well. You can order NFL RedZone on your mobile device or through your cable provider.

Last week, RedZone saw a lot of success thanks to its free trial. That will likely increase the number of people who buy the service because now they realize how awesome it is.

Depending on what package you have on your television, you might already get NFL RedZone. If you have DirecTV, you can’t get RedZone bybecause DirecTV has its own channel (RedZone Channel) as a part of its NFL Sunday Ticket package.
