0-6

Last week: L, 28-26, at TENLast rank: 32nd

The Browns are an absolute disgrace, but at least they have a long-term plan. In the short term, they might become the second team in NFL history to go 0-16.31

San Francisco 49ers

1-5

Last week: L, 45-16, at BUFLast rank: 31st

No matter who plays quarterback, the 49ers are going to struggle. The roster is terrible.30

Chicago Bears

1-5

Last week: L, 17-16, vs. JAXLast rank: 28th

Chicago might as well just go into complete tank ode and hope to land one of the top quarterbacks come the spring.29

New York Jets

1-5

Last week: L, 28-3, at AZLast rank: 27th

It might be Ryan Fitzpatrick next week, it might be Geno Smith. Either way, it’s over.28

Carolina Panthers

1-5

Last week: L, 41-38, at NOLast rank: 24th

Turn out the lights for this team, the party is over.27

Indianapolis Colts

2-4

Last week: L, 26-23, at HOULast rank: 18th

How do you drop 10 spots in an overtime loss on the road? You blow a 14-point lead to Brock Osweiler with three minutes remaining.26

Miami Dolphins

2-4

Last week: W, 30-15, vs. PITLast rank: 30th

Miami is a bad team, but it got a great win against the Steelers and deserves to be bumped up a few spots.25

Los Angeles Rams

3-3

Last week: L, 31-28, at DETLast rank: 19th

Los Angeles was a faux contender two weeks ago, and now it is a faux decent team. Case Keenum is the quarterback.24

Tennessee Titans

3-3

Last week: W, 28-26, vs. CLELast rank: 26th

It’s hard to move Tennessee much higher considering it almost blew a fourth-quarter lead to the Browns at home.23

San Diego Chargers

2-4

Last week: W, 21-13, vs. DENLast rank: 29th

After beating the Broncos, San Diego finally moves up. Can they topple the Falcons next week?22

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2-3

Last week: BYELast rank: 22nd

Tampa Bay has a very winnable game this week at San Francisco. Could vault the Buccaneers into the race.21

New Orleans Saints

2-3

Last week: W, 41-38, vs. CARLast rank: 25th

New Orleans continues to have a high-octane offense with no defense to back it up. On Sunday, it was good enough.20

Jacksonville Jaguars

2-3

Last week: W, 17-16, at CHILast rank: 23rd

Jacksonville wasn’t impressive, but it won in Chicago. Now the Jaguars get a huge contest at home against Oakland.19

Baltimore Ravens

3-3

Last week: L, 27-23, at NYGLast rank: 17th

After starting 3-0, the issues on this Ravens team have shown up everywhere over the last three weeks.18

Detroit Lions

3-3

Last week: W, 31-28, vs. LALast rank: 21st

Detroit is hard to figure. With a loss to the Titans and a win over the Eagles already on the slate, this is one of the more unpredictable teams in football.17

Cincinnati Bengals

2-4

Last week: L, 35-17, at NELast rank: 15th

After losing to the Patriots, Cincinnati has a long road ahead if it plans to make the postseason for a sixth straight year.16

New York Giants

3-3

Last week: W, 27-23, vs. BALLast rank: 20th

This has all the earmarkings of a team that will end the season 8-8, making fans think about what could have been. Good win this weekend, but it was a struggle.15

Houston Texans

4-2

Last week: W, 26-23 (OT), vs. INDLast rank: 16th

Sorry, not going to give Houston much love for winning this game. The Texans were outplayed by a bad team at home, and Brock Osweiler looks average at best.14

Philadelphia Eagles

3-2

Last week: L, 27-20, at WSHLast rank: 10th

Philadelphia is starting to show serious cracks in the foundation, and the schedule only gets tougher from here.13

Oakland Raiders

4-2

Last week: L, 26-10, vs. KCLast rank: 9th

The offense is very capable, but the defense is a total mess. The Chiefs ran all over Oakland in the rain.12

Arizona Cardinals

3-3

Last week: W, 28-3, vs. NYJLast rank: 14th

Arizona is starting to correct some of its earlier woes. Now a huge test looms against Seattle.11

Buffalo Bills

4-2

Last week: W, 45-16, vs. SFLast rank: 13th

Give Buffalo a ton of credit. This team looked dead on arrival after two weeks, and now has reeled off four straight wins.10

Washington Redskins

4-2

Last week: W, 27-20, vs. PHILast rank: 11th

Washington earned another nice win over the Eagles on Sunday. The NFC East remains very much within its grasp.9

Green Bay Packers

3-2

Last week: L, 30-16, vs. DALLast rank: 5th

Something is seriously wrong with Aaron Rodgers. If it’s Mike McCarthy, he needs to go.8

Kansas City Chiefs

3-2

Last week: W, 26-10, at OAKLast rank: 8th

When Andy Reid and Alex Smith don’t get in the way, this is a very dangerous football team.7

Denver Broncos

The Broncos need to get back on track this Monday night against Houston, or risk being in third place quickly.6

Pittsburgh needs to get Ben Roethlisberger back immediately, and then figure out why it always blows this lay-up games.5

The Falcons aren’t getting docked big for their loss at Seattle. In fact, it was the rare loss that still made a positive statement.4

Seattle Seahawks

4-1

Last week: W, 26-24, vs. SEALast rank: 8th

Seattle has issues on the offensive line, but the rest of this team is playing at a championship level.3

The Patriots continue to look like the class of the AFC by taking apart the Bengals.1
