Myles Garrett has all but locked up the No. 1 draft pick, as the Browns have already said they’re not trading the selection. It would be a complete surprise if they took anyone else. But Garrett still isn’t satisfied.

The 21-year-old Garrett showed that Thursday at Texas A&M’s pro day, opting to work out once again after his remarkable showing at the NFL Combine. With Sidney Jones and Fabian Moreau suffering significant injuries at their respective pro days, some questioned why Garrett would risk hurting his draft stock.

He explained himself after running a 4.61-second 40-yard dash, which topped his 4.64 at the Combine.

"I feel like I had done pretty well in my position drills and some other drills that I did today," Garrett told NFL Network. "I feel like I needed to prove myself in the 40. I felt like I could go faster if I had stretched out a little more, enhance what I did in Florida."
