Mike Iupati faces former 49ers teammates for first time

Offensive lineman Mike Iupati is active for Arizona as he returns to the Bay Area to play his former 49ers, who drafted him 17th overall in 2010.

Iupati left in free agency in March and didn't play against San Francisco in September. He was slowed by a knee injury early in the season, and sustained a stinger in a win against the Bengals one week after a neck injury at Seattle required him to leave on a stretcher and be hospitalized.

Safety Deone Bucannon also is active for Arizona after dealing with concussion symptoms and cornerback Patrick Peterson is playing after injuring his ankle last week.

For San Francisco, running back Carlos Hyde is missing his fourth straight game with a stress fracture in his left foot and linebacker Ahmad Brooks is out with a concussion.

At Seattle, cornerback Cary Williams is a healthy inactive against the Steelers. Williams had started 81 straight games, including playoffs, since the start of the 2011 season for the Ravens, Eagles and Seahawks.
