Miami Dolphins home to NFL's worst fans

It would be understandable if a fanbase was unhappy after several seasons where their team hasn't had much success. This is especially true for Miami Dolphin fans who have experienced back-to-back 8-8 seasons and have seen their team not the make the playoffs since 2008. But are times so bad that the Dolphins have the worst fans in the NFL?

According to a study done by Emory University, the Dolphins have the wrost fans in the league. That's right, even the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders have better fan bases than Miami.

The study comes from three years of analysis and encompassed variables such as attendance, prices and revenues to form their list. It may also have to do something with the fact that most of the Dolphins' success came in the 1970's when they won back-to-back Super Bowls.

It could also have something to do with the superb weather in Miami as fans have more alternatives than just attending football games, such as heading to the beaches.

For whatever reason, the Dolphins rank at the worst fans in the NFL. For the full list and the original study, check it out here
