Chiefs work out Linebackers

The Chiefs had the day off on Tuesday and didn’t have any media appearances. Kansas City hopes to get healthy after their mini-bye week and we will see how that shakes out come Sunday. The Chiefs have still yet to make a decision as to who will take Derrick Johnson’s place on the active roster. That is something that will more than likely happen in the next day or so. The Chiefs did work out 6 linebackers on Monday and we will see if any of them step onto the Chiefs roster.

The team is in prime position over the next couple of weeks to really get in a groove on offense. While their defense will suffer from the loss of DJ, their offense is starting to find life the past couple of games and this weekend should be another good test. The Titans passing defense is near the bottom of the league and they struggle against good TE’s so that is something the Chiefs will need to exploit. Kansas City should try to get their running game going but the Titan defense is stout against the run and will give them trouble moving the ball consistently.Kansas City has three more games before the playoffs start in January and with a win this week against the Titans they guarantee themselves a playoff spot. Arrowhead should be rocking on Sunday and Kansas City should have a good turn out as they are better than this Tennessee Titans team is right now.
