Detroit Lions wide receiver Lance Moore didn't travel with the team to Washington, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, but he had a good reason for skipping the Thursday night exhibition versus the Redskins. His daughter, Graylee Mae, was born the day before.
Moore shared a picture of his newborn baby on Instagram, captioned with a heart-felt message about his "perfect little angel."

Moore, 31, has been in the NFL for nine seasons, and his rapport with Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi dates back to the days they shared in New Orleans. A single preseason game is next to inconsequential at this point in his career.
