Lions fans cheer as QB Stafford is yanked for throwing 3 INTs

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was benched after throwing his third interception midway through the third quarter of Sunday's game against the visiting Arizona Cardinals.

Stafford was replaced by backup Dan Orlovsky one series after he was picked off by Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, which led to a 2-yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer to Larry Fitzgerald and a 35-7 lead.
It was the fifth turnover of the game for the skidding Lions, who entered Sunday's matchup as the only winless team in the NFL. Stafford finished 20-of-32 for 188 yards with one touchdown and the three interceptions, including one by defensive tackle Cory Redding that nearly went for a TD.
Big cheers for Dan Orlovsky as he trots out onto the field to be the #Lions QB.

Stafford staked Detroit to a 7-0 lead with a 6-yard scoring pass to Theo Riddick late in the first quarter until the binge of turnovers allowed Arizona to score the next 35 points before Stafford was yanked. He has six TD passes versus eight picks through the first five games.
