LeSean McCoy scores two TDs in 33 seconds one week after having surgery

A week ago Sunday, it hardly seemed that Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy would be making highlight-reel plays against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that’s exactly what he did on the first play of the second half.

McCoy, one week removed from surgery to repair a dislocated thumb following the Bills’ win over the Bengals, broke free for a 75-yard touchdown run on Buffalo’s first play from scrimmage after halftime against the Jaguars. He evaded two Jaguars defenders at the line and simply outran everyone else on his way to the end zone.

It was McCoy’s second touchdown in 33 seconds of game time, as he scored a seven-yard TD with 20 seconds left in the first half. His two touchdowns gave the Bills a 13-7 lead and ended a slump that saw McCoy rush for only 129 yards in his previous three games combined.

The 75-yard scamper was the longest play from scrimmage of his career, topping his previous long of 66 yards.
