Lamar Miller, run game becoming bigger focus under Dan Campbell

On both sides of the ball, the run game has been the Achilles' heel for the Miami Dolphins. They rank 31st in rushing yards per game (69.3) on offense, while they're dead-last in yards allowed per game on the ground (160.5).

Obviously, the Dolphins need to improve in both categories, and it sounds like interim head coach Dan Campbell is aware of that. The personnel is in place to have a solid ground game and a stout run defense, but they've yet to perform to expectations.

Lamar Miller, the lead back in Miami, says Campbell is focused on making the most of the team's talent.

"He pretty much told the whole team that we have to run the ball and stop the run," Miller said via Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald. "That's something that we emphasized, and something we want to get going … Me, personally, I think I've just got to be more decisive running the ball. I feel like, sometimes, I try to be too patient to let my block develop. I've just got to be decisive."

The Dolphins' first chance at changing the narrative of not being able to run the ball or stop it on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.  It shouldn't be too difficult of a challenge as the Titans rank in the bottom half of both categories.
