Jets select Western Michigan WR White in 7th round

The New York Jets have selected Western Michigan wide receiver Jordan White with their final pick, No. 244 overall, of the NFL draft.

White bounced back from two major knee injuries early in his career to catch 140 passes for 1,911 yards and 17 touchdowns in his senior season. He's a terrific route runner with great hands and could give Mark Sanchez another solid slot receiver to complement Jeremy Kerley.

White is the second wide receiver the Jets took in the draft, following Georgia Tech's Stephen Hill in the second round Friday.
