Jets' Revis gets through full practice
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis fully participated in practice Monday after sitting out team drills Sunday with some tightness in his right hamstring.
Revis worked with the first-team defense during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, and showed no signs of being hobbled. The All-Pro cornerback participated in only individual drills Sunday and thought he could do more, but team trainers wanted to be cautious with what was termed by coach Rex Ryan a ''minor thing.''
Revis originally felt the tightness during a rain-soaked practice Saturday, but it wasn't serious enough for the team to take any tests or an MRI exam on his hamstring. As he stood on the sideline during practice Sunday, there was some speculation that it could be contract-related, but Revis insisted it was not.
