Jeff Fisher has lost respect for Kosar

Published Aug. 10, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher has lost all respect for former Browns QB Bernie Kosar.

Kosar threw major shade on the Rams during the Browns’ local broadcast of their preseason game against St. Louis. He said the Rams receivers were “horrible,” that these players’ parents should be “embarrassed” and that Rams receivers coach Ray Sherman is “not doing very good.” Kosar also voiced how he doesn’t think much of Rams backup quarterback Kellen Clemens.

Their parents should be embarrassed, though?

Those could be seen as fighting words in certain places. Kosar was just rambling and trash talking more than he should have been.

Here’s what fans had to say about Kosar’s broadcasting via Twitter:

At his news conference on Saturday, Jeff Fisher made sure to let it be known that Kosar has some personal problems, in his opinion.

While going on the defensive for Clemens, Fisher had this to say about Kosar: “Bernie’s got his issues. They’re well-documented.”

Fisher also went on to say he respects the Browns organization, but feels sorry that they had someone broadcast the game who felt the need to say those things about players and coaches.

It’s safe to say he doesn’t feel like Kosar should be calling any more games from the broadcast booth.
