The Jacksonville Jaguars are carrying four quarterbacks into training camp.

The Jaguars waived rookie quarterback Jordan Rodgers on Monday, parting ways with the former Vanderbilt starter four days before training camp.

The move leaves Jacksonville with four quarterbacks for camp: Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne, Mike Kafka and rookie Matt Scott.

Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay star Aaron Rodgers, missed most of offseason workouts following surgery to repair a sports hernia.

Rodgers was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in April. He started 12 games for Vandy last season, completing 60 percent of his passes for 2,539 yards and 15 touchdowns. He led the Commodores to a 9-4 record.
