Jaguars sign former Ravens WR Tandon Doss

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed free agent receiver Tandon Doss, giving the team a big target to complement Cecil Shorts III and Ace Sanders.

The 6-foot-2 Doss also could return punts for the Jaguars. His 15.6 yards per return led the NFL last year.

A fourth-round draft pick from Indiana in 2011, Doss caught 19 passes for 305 yards last season. Six of his receptions gained at least 20 yards.

The Jaguars had been looking to bolster their receiving corps, especially with the uncertainty surrounding third-year pro Justin Blackmon. Blackmon remains suspended for repeated violations of the league's substance-abuse policy.
