It's been a really long time since the Bills won on Monday night

Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills are set to take on the New England Patriots on Monday night, looking to put the first blemish on their perfect record.

If history holds true, however, that probably won't be happening. It's been more than a decade since the Bills have won a game on Monday night, with the last time coming on Oct. 4, 1999.

In that game, it was Doug Flutie who topped Dan Marino and the Miami Dolphins, 23-18. Flutie only completed 12 passes to four different receivers in what was a penalty-filled game, with the teams combining for just 542 yards of total offense.

Tyrod Taylor and the Bills will look to do what Flutie was able to do, though the 9-0 Patriots are going to be a tough test.
