Houston Texans win a thriller in OT over Colts, 26-23

The Houston Texans struggled for most of the night but woke up in the fourth quarter to score a come from behind overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts

Something changed in the Houston Texans in the fourth quarter of their Sunday Night Football game against the Indianapolis Colts.

They fell behind 23-9 and in the final quarter they turned it up a notch. Brock Osweiler hit running back Lamar Miller late in the final period, and he made a fantastic run after the catch to get a touchdown late in the game.

Houston was able to get it back after that and Osweiler dissected the defense and hit tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz for a game-tying touchdown.

After Indianapolis won the toss, the defense proved to be up to the task again. Indianapolis had to punt and Houston made quick work of the Colts.

Receiver Jaelen Strong made an amazing 36-yard catch to put the Texans into position for the game winning kick by Nick Novak. For Osweiler, it was his third career overtime win. He is now 3-0 in overtime games and may have silenced some of the critics for at least a week.

The win is the second one in as many tries against AFC South opponents. The Texans won the division with a record of 9-7 and right now they have a one game lead. The loss sends the Colts to the bottom of the division at 2-4 on the season.

Next Game

The next game for the Houston Texans (4-2) will again be in front of a large audience. They travel to Denver to play the Broncos (4-2). Brock Osweiler will face his old team, who happen to be on a two-game losing streak at the moment.
