The Pittsburgh Steelers made Rashard Mendenhall inactive for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers, the second straight week the running back has been scratched.

Mendenhall hasn't played since fumbling in a loss to Cleveland on Nov. 25. Jonathan Dwyer will make his second straight start at running back, with Isaac Redman the first one off the bench.

Cornerback Ike Taylor (fractured ankle) is also inactive, snapping his streak of 135 consecutive games played. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (fractured ankle), offensive linemen Mike Adams and John Malecki, quarterback Byron Leftwich and defensive end Al Woods join Taylor and Mendenhall on the inactive list.

The Chargers made injured starting offensive tackles Mike Harris and Jeromey Clary inactive. Wide receiver Eddie Royal, linebacker Donald Butler, guard Tyronne Green, defensive tackle Antonio Garay and tight end Ladarius Green are also inactive.
