Hardegree hired as Dolphins QB coach; Washburn also hired

MIAMI (AP) Bo Hardegree is following Adam Gase to the Miami Dolphins and will be their quarterbacks coach.

Gase, the Dolphins' new head coach, worked with Hardegree in 2015 when both were with the Chicago Bears. Gase was offensive coordinator and Hardegree was an offensive assistant.

The two also worked together in 2014 on the Denver Broncos' staff.

Gase hired Jeremiah Washburn as Miami's assistant offensive line coach, the team said Wednesday. Washburn spent the past seven years working with the offensive line for the Detroit Lions.
