Gray's 'no,' ends up 'no comment' on Redskins job

Jerry Gray's ``no'' may or may not actually mean ``no.''

The Washington Redskins secondary coach gave a clear one-word denial Wednesday when asked if has interviewed for the team's head coaching job.

However, the Redskins public relations department later said that Gray's ``no'' actually means ``no comment.''

Gray is a minority candidate who would satisfy the Rooney Rule if Jim Zorn is fired at the end of the season.

Gray did say he has discussed the issue with Zorn. He said the coaching staff is trying to not let the matter distract preparations for Sunday's game against Dallas.
