Golden Tate wears blonde wig, channels his inner Justin Beiber

Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate may not be a Belieber, but he sure looked like one over the weekend.

On Sunday, Tate posted a picture on Instagram of himself wearing a blonde wig, posing in front of a Billboard magazine cover featuring singer/songwriter Justin Bieber.

Via Tate's verified Instagram account:

The caption simply read: "Purpose."

Tate has never publicly discussed himself a fan of Bieber. Taylor Swift is another story, though. He is an avid fan of the country/pop star and has even been filmed singing the chorus of "Love Story," a popular Swift single from 2008.

Tate has a big, off-the-field personality that makes him a fan favorite. If the normally reserved Calvin Johnson retires and Tate becomes the team's top wide receiver, he'll see a larger share of the spotlight and could take his stardom to the next level.
