Giants could be without two starting linebackers in Week 8

The New York Giants have dealt with injuries along the defensive side of the football all season, and that hasn't change heading into their Week 8 game at New Orleans. Starting linebackers Jon Beason and J.T. Thomas missed practice again on Thursday.
Thomas was seen in a walking boot earlier this week, while Beason is dealing with both ankle and knee soreness. Beason missed practice time prior to Week 7 and played anyway, but he and Thomas must have suffered a further injury in the win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Without both players, the Giants will be forced to turn to Jonathan Casillas on the outside in Thomas' place and either Mark Herzlich or Jasper Brinkley on the inside in Beason's place. All three players have struggled in a starting linebacker role.
