Fox on status of Bears WR Kevin White: 'I think his leg is healed'

The Chicago Bears are trying to get rookie wide receiver Kevin White on the field before the season comes to a close. On Monday, Bears head coach John Fox said White's leg has healed, according to the team's official Twitter account, and now it's just a matter of getting him into playing shape.
White, the seventh-overall pick in this year's draft, underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left shin back in August. He has spent the entire season on the physically unable to perform list, but he's about to enter his third week of practice with the team. The Bears must make a decision regarding his activation by Dec. 15.

After spending such a high draft pick to acquire White, the Bears want to give their fans a glimpse of the future this season. However, if the 6-foot-3, 217-pound pass-catcher can't get up to speed, Chicago will have to wait until next year to find out what he brings to the table.
