FOX earns 14 Sports Emmy nominations
FOX Sports Media Group, the umbrella that encompasses News Corporation’s wide array of multi-platform US-based sports assets, was recognized for its broadcasting excellence with a combined total of 14 Sports Emmy Award nominations from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
FOX Sports, the sports television arm of the FOX Broadcasting Company, was honored with 11 nominations. Those include two for Outstanding Live Sports Series (NFL on FOX and NASCAR on FOX/SPEED), Joe Buck and Howie Long for Outstanding Personality Play-by-Play and Studio Analyst, respectively, and all three nominations in the category of Outstanding Live Event Audio/Sound for MLB, NASCAR and NFL on FOX.
The Big Ten Network was nominated for their original series “The Journey” in the category of Outstanding Sports Series Anthology and FUEL was recognized for its work on “Red Bull Young Jaws” with a nomination for Outstanding Edited Sports Special.
