Fantasy football owners, don’t forget to adjust your lineups accordingly based on last minute injuries. Here are the top injuries by position heading into Week 8 action.

Don’t let an injury ruin your entire fantasy football lineup. It has been a dreadful fantasy season with all of the injuries that have been piling up. Week after week owners track players health and status up until game time hoping their player will start.

Scrambling to fill your lineup has never been so difficult. Running backs are becoming scarce, elite quarterbacks are already drafted and you just don’t know who you should chance it with.

This week’s injury report has a lot of players listed questionable. However, this week’s questionable players are all expected to play for the most part.

On the contrary, there are a lot of running backs out this week. This position needs to be addressed carefully.

Although some positions hold more value than others, all injuries should be made aware of. Take a look at this week’s fantasy football key injuries by position.

4. Tight Ends

Tight ends aren’t the most valuable fantasy football player. It’s one of the positions you survive without having two on your roster until you need to fill a bye.

That also means if your tight end gets injured, you could find yourself in a bad situation. But that hasn’t been the case this season.

There haven’t been a ton of injuries to the position when you compare them to running back and wide receiver injuries this season. This week there are a handful of players listed questionable but aren’t in danger of missing games.

With only Dwayne Allen expected to be out in Week 8, fantasy football owners shouldn’t have any tight end issues this week. However, keep in mind some players still may not be 100 percent, even if they suit up!

Questionable

Martellus Bennett (New England Patriots), Hunter Henry (San Diego Chargers), Jordan Reed (Washington Redskins), Charles Clay (Buffalo Bills), Eric Ebron (Detroit Lions), Jason Witten (Dallas Cowboys), Vernon Davis (Washington Redskins)

Out

Dwayne Allen (Indianapolis Colts)

Filler Options

Jack Doyle, Jimmy Graham, Travis Kelce

3. Wide Receivers

Don’t be surprised when you see an overload of fantasy football wide receivers listed questionable. Questionable isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Some players have a specific day a week they do not practice or are limited; it’s part of their training regimen. When players are limited or miss a session regardless if it’s scheduled, they are listed on the injury report.

This week Dez Bryant returns since his Week 3 injury. I would hold off starting him this week until he’s 100 percent, especially this week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Luckily enough for fantasy football owners, there aren’t any high valued players expected to miss this week’s games regardless of their questionable status. This week’s bye week wide receivers will be more of a loss than injured players in Week 8.

Questionable

Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboys), John Brown (Arizona Cardinals), Ty Montgomery (Green Bay Packers), Michael Floyd (Arizona Cardinals), Travis Benjamin (San Diego Chargers), Tyrell Williams (San Diego Chargers), Tyler Lockett (Seattle Seahawks), Donte Moncrief (Indianapolis Colts), Robert Woods (Buffalo Bills), Julian Edelman (New England Patriots), Randall Cobb (Green Bay Packers), Jamison Crowder (Washington Redskins), Desean Jackson (Washington Redskins)

Out

Marquise Goodwin (Buffalo Bills), Corey Coleman (Cleveland Browns)

Filler Options

Davante Adams, Quincy Enunwa, Ty Montgomery (WR/RB)

2. Running Backs

There are an incredible amount of running backs out this week. Pair that up with this week’s bye players like Le’Veon Bell and Ezekiel Elliott, fantasy football owners may suffer in the running back position.

This is also the week Jamaal Charles owners should think long and hard about his value on your roster. His re-emergence wasn’t what anyone hoped for. Charles didn’t look healthy and is now out of this week’s matchup. With Spencer Ware successfully picking up the workload, Charles’ value will continue to decrease.

Aside from the obvious C.J. Anderson, there are several other significant backs out this week. Be sure to set your lineup accordingly.

Questionable

Lamar Miller (Houston Texans), Ty Montgomery (Green Bay Packers), Mike Gillislee (Buffalo Bills)

Out

Jamaal Charles (Kansas City Chiefs), Tevin Coleman (Atlanta Falcons), Jerick McKinnon (Minnesota Vikings), Thomas Rawls (Seattle Seahawks), Matt Jones (Washington Redskins), C.J. Anderson (Denver Broncos), Doug Martin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), LeSean McCoy (Buffalo Bills)

Filler Options

Chris Thompson, Devontae Booker, Jacquizz Rodgers

1. Quarterbacks

It has been an interesting fantasy football season for quarterbacks. Tom Brady was a top five quarterback pick and he was suspended for the first four games.

Tony Romo was injured before the season even started, although that shouldn’t have surprised anyone. Sam Bradford was traded to the Minnesota Vikings after Teddy Bridgewater was injured.

Last week Geno Smith was placed on injured reserve. Ben Roethlisberger remains out, and the Cleveland Browns have started four different quarterbacks this season. Spoiler alert, Josh McCown will start this week.

I can assume the majority of leagues won’t need to fill Cody Kessler however if you’ve bounced around quarterbacks since Roethlisberger went down or have a bye week player, check out the filler options below.

Out

Cody Kessler (Cleveland Browns), Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers) Geno Smith “Injured Reserve” (New York Jets)

Filler Options

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jameis Winston, Trevor Siemian
