Ex-Pats CB Browner receives Super Bowl ring, note from owner Kraft

Like fellow corner Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner joined the New England Patriots for a one-year stint last season that included a Super Bowl victory. Both players have since moved on (Revis to the New York Jets, Browner to the New Orleans Saints), but both made the most of their pit stop in Foxboro.
Thursday, Browner finally received his hardware from the team's Super Bowl victory. Not only did Browner receive the ring in the mail, but it was included with a sentimental note from Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The note read, "I'm truly sorry you left us -- you were one of my favorites in the locker room."
A nice gesture from Kraft, for sure. Unfortunately, Kraft should be sorry the 6-foot-4 Browner left the Patriots because, well, New England is left with a huge hole at cornerback because of it.
