Eagles' players: No need for players only meeting after loss

The Philadelphia Eagles lost by 28 points in Week 11 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 45-17, but despite the way they played, the players do not feel like any kind of measure needs to be taken to turn things around.

"The mistakes we make are self-inflicted," defensive tackle Bennie Logan said to reporters, per NJ Advanced Media. "It's nothing really other teams are doing. We understand what we have to get done. There is no reason to call a players-only meeting to fix anything."

Last night, an anonymous Eagles player questioned the effort level of running back DeMarco Murray and potentially other players on the team. Despite the report, Eagles cornerback Byron Maxwell doesn't believe that effort played any role in the loss.

"I didn't see a question with effort," cornerback Byron Maxwell said. "It was missed tackles and we didn't make the plays when we came down to it."
