The Philadelphia Eagles got a major scare in their third preseason game when starting right tackle Lane Johnson limped off the field after a two-point conversion attempt. Later, CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher revealed that Johnson should be fine for the Eagles' regular season opener.
Johnson enjoyed a breakout 2014 season with the Eagles after returning from a four-game suspension. He finished as the second-highest graded right tackle according to Pro Football Focus.
With Evan Mathis and Todd Herremans no longer on the roster, Johnson is expected to carry a greater weight in 2015. He put together an excellent offseason while working with Jay Glazer in his MMA-inspired gym.
