Eagles' Jason Peters claims he'll be fine, play after bye week

Players are often overly optimistic following an injury, but it's excellent news that Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters is feeling fine after a scary injury in Week 7 on Sunday night.
In the first quarter, Peters went down to the ground where he remained for several minutes before being carted off the field. Later, it was reported that the injury was a case of "back spasms", per CSN Philly.
“I’ll be all right,” Peters said to reporters, per Rueben Frank of CSN Philly. “I’m good.”
Peters also added that he plans to play when the Eagles return from their bye week to take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
This is excellent news -- in Peters' place, Matt Tobin allowed 3 sacks and countless pressures -- he was completely over-matched at left tackle and his position switch left another gaping hole at guard.
