Eagles, Giants already trash talking

Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin said Wednesday that safety Antrel Rolle and the Giants are running their mouths because they are running scared.

Asked about Rolle's comment on WFAN that he has handled Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson one-on-one before and can do so again Sunday, Maclin mocked Rolle and the team as a whole.

"If you're talking, you're either insecure or scared, and he's talking," Maclin said Wednesday morning as the Eagles (1-1) prepared to take on the Giants (1-1) at Lincoln Financial Field.

Maclin added another zinger at the entire Giants team by pointing to the Eagles' six-game winning streak over their NFC East rivals.

"They have no business talking, because they haven't done anything the last six times," Maclin said.

In the last meeting in Week 15 last year, Jackson's punt return touchdown on the final play of the game gave the Eagles a 38-31 victory, capping a furious rally in which Philly scored 28 points in the final eight minutes.
