ANALYSIS
The initial names to come across the wire (Tidwell, Nixon, Peko, Rayamond, Norman) all look like guys that could be candidates for the practice squad. There’s probably no correlation between their names emerging first and whether or not the Broncos will try and get them back by Sunday when practice squads are likely announced, but it’s interesting they’ve all come out consecutively here.

Taurean Nixon was on the practice squad with the Broncos all of last year and came up to the active roster just in time for a Super Bowl run. It makes sense that the Broncos would want to try and continue his development for another season as he has phenomenal athleticism.
Raymond was in competition with Jordan Norwood and others as the Broncos’ primary return specialist. With him no waived, it’ll be interesting to see who the Broncos put back for kick returns. That duty — for the time being — could belong to reserve receiver Cody Latimer, who has done it for the Broncos before.
Defensive lineman Kyle Peko was one of the favorites to uphold the almost annual tradition of the Broncos keeping an undrafted free agent on the roster. He was given the highest signing bonus among Broncos UDFAs this offseason.
We’ll continue to update as cuts roll in.
