Deflategate? Drew Brees is just worried about winning a championship

When Drew Brees sat down to chat with Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo on ESPN Radio Wednesday, he answered a wide range of questions. One of the many topics he was asked about was about Deflategate and the New England Patriots. His thoughts? He basically had little-to-no concern about it.
Andrew Schuster of Who Dat Dish took some time to break down what Brees had to say during the interview, specifically about Deflategate.
“Honestly, I’m just worried about my team and doing what we need to do to win a championship,” Drew Brees told SVP & Russillo.
Brees continued, “Once you’re out on gameday, you got enough other things to worry than what the balls are like. You’re focused on throwing it to the right guy, being on time, where are the defenders, who’s coming to hit you. You got enough things going on. Honestly, I’ve never given it that much that other than I like the balls broken in a certain way, but then after that, you just play ball with whatever ball comes up.”
That's the Drew Brees we've come to know and love. The focus always seems to be in the right place with the lead man in New Orleans.
