Colin Kaepernick issued a pretty nice defense of Tom Brady via Twitter Friday.

We’ll let the tweet speak for itself.

"No football in the world is going to help you win by 38!" Kaepernick wrote. "Let it go and let Tom be great! On to the 2015 season #7tormsComsing."

Kaepernick captures a similar sentiment to that shared by many. He's not the first fellow NFL player to defend Brady, as you can see here.

Most people recognize Brady is an awesome quarterback regardless. But it’s not so much about whether or not the air pressure of the footballs helped Brady, it’s that he lied that bothers most.

What did you expect him to do? Tell everyone prior to the Super Bowl that he cheated? Yeah, like that was happening. He should have just asked the league to drop the PSI minimum to 11.5 or 12 and they would have complied. That’s where he really messed up.
