Cavs' title inspires retirement of infamous Browns QB jersey
When the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers completed an incredible NBA Finals comeback against the Warriors to claim the title, a new era began for all of Cleveland sports.
The title snapped the city's 52-year championship drought and should dissolve that nagging feeling of impending doom Clevelanders have felt even when things are going well. That same spirit inspired Tim Brokaw, owner of the infamous floor-length Cleveland Browns quarterback misery nameplate jersey, to retire the article.
Other Cleveland athletes including Browns two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden are feeling the good vibes.

Win or lose, at least new Browns QB Robert Griffin III won't become just another name on that jersey.
