Cavallari, Cutler's ex, denies rumors
Reality star Kristin Cavallari shot down rumors Thursday that she told Chicago Bears quarterback and ex-fiancé Jay Cutler he was worthless and denied accusing him of faking a knee injury.
"I never said ANYTHING about jays knee injury. I've always backed him 100%. Stop trying to start s***. I knw he was seriously hurt," she tweeted after a gossip website said she called Cutler "a loser and a p**** ... for faking the injury."
"She told him he was worthless," a source told the Hollywood Life blog, referring to the former MTV reality star's treatment of the NFL player.
In January, Cutler suffered a knee injury early in the third quarter of the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers. He did not return to finish the game and was blasted by the media for not being tough enough.
The Bears lost to the Packers — who went on to win Super Bowl XLV in February.
"Stop believing everything ur reading...not 1 thing has been accurate and I haven't commented AT ALL and jay hasn't either so its all bs," Cavallari added in her Twitter lashout, denying the report.
Cutler, 28, and Cavallari, 24, called off their four-month engagement on the weekend, but both have remained silent on the cause of their split.
Several media outlets reported Cutler had commented about the break-up on his Facebook page, but the profile on the social networking website turned out to be a fake.
The pair began dating last fall, and Cutler popped the question in April.
