Campbell back after missing 1 game with concussion

Published Dec. 8, 2013 12:23 p.m. ET

Quarterback Jason Campbell is back with the Cleveland Browns after missing a game with a concussion.

His backup Sunday against the New England Patriots is Caleb Hanie, who was signed during the week after Brandon Weeden suffered a concussion in last Sunday's loss to Jacksonville. Quarterbacks Weeden, who also has started this year, and Alex Tanney, signed the previous week after Campbell was hurt, are inactive.

Inactive Patriots players include rookie wide receivers Aaron Dobson (foot injury) and Kenbrell Thompkins (foot), who have combined for 67 catches. Also inactive are running back Brandon Bolden, whose absence from practice Friday wasn't injury related, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui and tackle Marcus Cannon.

Cleveland's inactive players include offensive linemen Martin Wallace, Garrett Gilkey and Reid Fragel.
