Browns hire Paul Dunn to help with offensive line
BEREA, Ohio (AP) The Browns have hired Paul Dunn as an assistant line coach to succeed Andy Moeller, who parted ways with the team following a domestic violence complaint.
Dunn previously worked with Houston. Browns coach Mike Pettine said Dunn will work alongside George DeLeone, who took over when the team suspended Moeller following an alcohol-related incident at his home on Sept. 5. Moeller, who was not charged following a review by the city prosecutor, and the Browns ended their association earlier this week.
Dunn has also worked as an offensive line coach with Atlanta.
Cleveland's offensive line has struggled through three games. The unit, anchored by Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas, is supposed to be one of the league's best, but has underperformed so far and Pettine said Moeller's departure has had an impact.
