Browns delayed on trip to Indy

Published Sep. 18, 2011 1:20 p.m. ET

The Cleveland Browns were delayed briefly on their trip to Indianapolis.

Team spokesman Dan Murphy said the team was supposed to leave for Sunday's game against the Colts at about 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. A tire on the plane got stuck in grass, and the plane had to be lifted before the local fire department inspected the tire. It was determined that the team needed to switch planes. Murphy said the total delay was about two hours.
