Browns' Dansby held out with knee injury

Published Nov. 23, 2014 12:30 p.m. ET

ATLANTA (AP) Linebacker Karlos Dansby is inactive as expected with a knee injury for the Browns game against the Falcons.

Another veteran Cleveland linebacker, Jabaal Sheard, will be in uniform after a foot injury was discovered to be not as serious as initially feared. On Monday, coach Mike Pettine said Sheard might be lost for the season.

Cleveland tight end Jordan Cameron also is inactive. Cameron, who has suffered three concussions in less than two years, practiced Friday for the first time since Oct. 24.

The Falcons have receivers Julio Jones (illness), Harry Douglas (foot) and Devin Hester (ankle) in uniform. Robert McClain is expected to start for cornerback Robert Alford (wrist).
