Bradford out against Cowboys

Published Oct. 22, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

Rams QB Sam Bradford won't play against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, as his high ankle sprain hasn't improved enough for him to make the start.

Bradford was hurt in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers and wore a protective boot over his left ankle. He wasn't able to practice all week.

A.J. Feeley will start under center for St. Louis. He hasn't attemped a pass in a game in three years.
